Your progress as a caregiver will be assessed against discipline specific skills and competencies as identified in your development plan: Technical competencies and skills: Technical skills are the core, unit and discipline specific practical skills that are needed to provide safe and effective patient care. Technical skill proficiency is achieved through a combination of factors, including knowledge, frequency and job rotations. Non-Technical Competencies: Having a well-developed foundation of skills and knowledge also requires having the right attitude and behavior. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s CARING competencies formulate an essential component of the overall development program.
