The Group Practice Model was developed by Cleveland Clinic in the US and has been extended to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. It is a collaborative approach to patient care where physicians act as a unit, pooling their expertise and combining their specialties around a specific organ or disease system into integrated practice units called Institutes. The Model allows physicians to efficiently and effectively address patient needs, reduce redundancies, efficiently allocate resources, and decrease the length of patient stays.
Patients First is a philosophy pioneered by Cleveland Clinic in the US. This approach extends beyond world-class clinical care, emphasizing care that addresses every aspect of a patient’s encounter with Cleveland Clinic, including the patient’s physical comfort, as well as their educational, emotional, and spiritual needs.
