Dr. Ali Al Jaberi, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Al Jaberi completed his medical education and surgical training in the US.
Dr. Al Jaberi received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine, New York ,US, where he graduated with a Distinction in Academics. He went on to complete his General Surgery residency at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston, Massacheusetts, US. He then pursued his Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship training at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County and the University of Illinois Health, Chicago, US. Both institutions included surgeons who pioneered the field of Colorectal Surgery.
Dr. Al Jaberi was awarded a full scholarship for his education by merit, was named resident of the year, and received the Excellence in Teaching awarded by Tufts Medicine. He presented at the national ASCRS meeting as a podium speaker and published in the Diseases of Colon and Rectum Journal. He has also presented at numerous conferences, contributed in book chapters and published peer reviewed articles.
Dr. Al Jaberi is originally from Al Ain. He now lives in Abu Dhabi. He enjoys an active lifestyle including running, cycling, and spending time with his family.
