Dr. Arshad Ghori

Dr. Arshad Ghori, MD, FRCA, FFICM, is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ghori trained in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, UK, and has worked as a Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and Critical Care in the UK at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. He was the Royal College of Anesthetists College Tutor at the Royal Brompton Hospital for six years. He was also the Clinical Director of Anesthesia for three years at Royal Brompton Hospital.

Dr. Ghori received his medical degree from Madurai Kamaraj University having completed his undergraduate education in Tirunelveli Medical College, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his residency at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals & The North Trent Anesthetic Residency Program, UK. 

He was the lead for anesthesia for complex aortic surgery and has special interest in minimally invasive cardiac surgery.

Dr. Ghori resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and mother-in-law. He has two children, a daughter and a son, who are both foundation year doctors in the UK. He enjoys reading and travelling and is good at dad jokes.
