Dr. Faek EL Jamali

Faek EL Jamali, M.D., F.A.C.S. is Consultant Surgical Oncologist and colorectal surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr El Jamali completed training in general surgery at the University of Connecticut and an SSO approved surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh leading to American Board certification.

He also completed a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive colorectal surgery at IRCAD/EITS in Strasbourg, France. Dr EL Jamali joined the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2002 where he practiced until August 2020, progressing to the rank of tenured Professor of Surgery and Vice Chair for clinical affairs.

In 2020, Dr Jamali relocated to the UAE to join Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in partnership with Mayo Clinic as senior consultant and chief of the division of colorectal Surgery before moving to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in February 2023. His practice focuses on surgical oncology, the management of peritoneal surface malignancies as well as minimally invasive / robotic colorectal surgery.
