Dr. Hassan Khan

Dr. Hassan Khan, MBBS, FCPS is an Associate Staff Physician, Cardiology in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.   

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khan was serving as a faculty member and Consultant Cardiologist at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi, and Tabba Heart Institute, Karachi, Pakistan.  

Dr. Khan received his medical degree from Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro, Pakistan, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Dr. Ziauddin University Hospital, Karachi. He subsequently completed his fellowship in adult cardiology from Tabba Heart Institute, Karachi after which he was awarded a Fellowship in Cardiology (FCPS) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan. 

Dr. Khan holds special interests in multimodality cardiac imaging and after his cardiology fellowship he pursued two years of subspecialty training in advanced cardiac Imaging.  

He then earned American Diplomate certifications in adult comprehensive Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular CT.  

Throughout his tenure, Dr. Khan has been involved in teaching and academic assignments for undergraduate, postgraduate and nursing students.   

Currently, Dr. Khan resides in Abu Dhabi, with his wife and three daughters. When he's not working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khan enjoys homemade Biryani, socializing, reading, watching movies and going out with family and friends.
