Dr. Hussain Al Khalifah, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, specializing in neuroradiology. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hussain served as a Neuroradiologist at Spectrum Healthcare Partners in Bangor, Maine, US, where he provided comprehensive diagnostic imaging services with a focus on neuroimaging.
Dr. Hussain earned his medical degree from Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal university, KSA, and went on to complete his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, US. This was followed by an advanced fellowship in Neuroimaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital, US, one of the world’s leading medical institutions.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Hussain has held leadership roles as the Section Head of Neuroimaging. He was also a member of the Spectrum North Leadership Committee, contributing to recruitment, performance oversight, and strategic growth.
Outside of work, Dr. Hussain is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys scuba diving, cycling and running. His love for adventure and fitness complements his dedication to healthcare, promoting both personal well-being and professional excellence.
