Dr. Mena Aziz, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Aziz worked as a Cardiology Specialist at Ministry of Health (MOH), Kuwait, where he played a pivotal role in establishing a new structural interventions program. He gained experiance actively aiding in the teaching program for training the new juniors joining the Echocardiography lab and Cardiac CT.
Dr. Aziz received his medical degree from Assiut University Hospital, Assiut, Egypt. He completed his residency at the same institution.
His main field of interest is cardiovascular imaging and valve interventions, and he has certification on both the Borad of Cardiovascular CT and the National Board of Echocardiography.
Dr. Aziz was awarded a token of appreciation by MOH, Kuwait in 2023 for providing superior evidence-based care and his dedication to the medical profession.
Dr. Aziz resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and 3 kids. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, reading and cycling.
