24Michele Kigozi, MD is a Staff Physician in the Anaesthesia Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Dr Kigozi was employed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Kigozi received her medical degree from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. She completed her initial training in General Medicine at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, before electing to dual train in Anaesthesia and Intensive care medicine at the St George's and King College Hospital's in London. She is now on the General Medical Council's Specialist Register with dual specialist accreditation in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine.
During her training she completed advanced training in Neuroanaesthesia, Regional Anaesthesia, Medical Education and Intensive Care Medicine. She has also undertaken additional training in ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and organ donation and transplantation.
Currently Dr. Kigozi resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband. She enjoys martial arts and pilates.
