26Dr. Hicham T. Abada, MD, is Chief of Interventional Radiology in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Abada was appointed Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he led different clinical programs, such as, the Uterine Fibroid Program and the Peripheral vascular Imaging program. Dr. Abada also has prior experience working in Europe (Belgium & France). Dr. Abada has extensive clinical expertise in the field of peripheral vascular disease, embolization and interventional oncology. He co-developed, in France, the program of Post-Partum Hemorrhage that is still one of the most active in Paris.
His areas of research include imaging of aorta, endovascular aortic repair follow up and management, radiation dose optimization and renal denervation.
