Dr. Raj Nair, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is also Clinical Associate Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology and Fellow of the European Academy of Neurology. He has also held the position of Quality Officer for the Neurological Institute since 2019.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Nair worked as a Consultant Neurologist for nine years at medical facilities in India.
Dr. Nair completed his medical degree in General Medicine, at the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He also has a DM in Neurology and DNB in both General Medicine and Neurology.
Dr. Nair has worked in prestigious teaching hospitals in Kerala as Lecturer and Assistant Professor. He received training in Epilepsy from Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, US and led the Epilepsy Care Center in KMCT Medical College in, Kozhikode, Kerala, India, during which period he successfully performed more than 200 video EEG and completed epilepsy surgery for patients with the help of his neurosurgical team.
