Dr. Hegazin also previously worked for the International Organization for Migration providing care for refugees with a variety of illnesses, physical and mental needs. Dr. Hegazin received her medical degree from Mu’tah University, Mu’tah, Jordan, before completing a residency in internal medicine at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, US.
Dr. Hegazin is specialized in obesity and lifestyle medicine, and she is American Board certified in both of these specialties. She is able to provide care to those struggling with obesity through patient-led comprehensive care as she strongly believes in using lifestyle modification to treat obesity and the possibility of reversing obesity- related diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
