19Dr. Samer Shoshan, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Critical Care Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Medical Specialty Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shoshan worked at the Andalusia Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt, where he was the lead of the critical care specialists team. His role included managing post-operative neurosurgical interventions and neurological conditions, next to treating general medical critical patients. He previously held roles at Oqba bin Nafee Hospital and El Sherouk Hospital, also in Alexandria. Dr. Shoshan also has extensive experience in managing trauma and toxicology patients during his work at the Alexandria University Hospitals.
Dr. Shoshan graduated from the University of Alexandria in 2005. He completed an internship in medicine and surgery and his residency and master's degree in critical care medicine and toxicology, at the Alexandria University Hospitals.
Dr. Shoshan is married and has a daughter and a son. He resides with his family in Abu Dhabi.
