Dr. Sara Jimenez

Dr. Sara Jimenez, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Jimenez was a Consultant Breast Radiologist and the Head of the Breast Radiology Department at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid, Spain, and Co-head of the Breast Radiology Unit of Hospital Ruber Internacional, Madrid, for seven years.

Dr. Jimenez received her medical degree and doctorate from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. She completed her residency at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, with rotations at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC, US, and at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona, Spain.

Dr. Jimenez is a regular speaker at international breast-related congresses, has participated in multiple clinical trials, and has authored or co-authored multiple scientific communications and publications. She has also been a member of the Organizing Committee of the Spanish Breast Congress.

Currently, Dr. Jimenez lives in Abu Dhabi with her husband and twin daughters. When not at work, she enjoys travelling, playing padel, visiting flea markets searching for antique jewellery, and chocolate.
