Dr. Sylvester Rodrigues, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Emergency Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Rodrigues worked as a Staff Physician in the NHS at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust in South London, UK. He has also held the position of the Trauma Lead for the trust and Senior Lecturer at the St George’s Hospital in South London.
Dr. Rodrigues received his medical degrees from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, India. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, India and his fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the London Deanery in the UK.
Dr. Rodrigues has been awarded with the Dr. Fred and Domitilla Saldanha Memorial prize and the Dr. I.M. Thomas prize in 2002. He has been awarded the Education Hero award in 2023.
Dr. Rodrigues resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys bike rides, playing football and racquet sports.
