Dr. Timothy Souster

Dr. Timothy Souster, MD, is Chair of the Emergency Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Souster worked as a staff emergency medicine physician at the South Health Campus Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dr. Souster is also certified in Family Medicine. He worked as a staff family medicine physician in Sundre, Alberta, Canada prior to returning to emergency medicine residency training.

Dr. Souster received his medical degree from the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Alberta and his emergency medicine residency at the University of Calgary. 

Dr. Souster has received several awards from the Department of Emergency Medicine in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In 2014, he received the South Health Campus Rookie of the Year award followed by the Departmental 2017 Humanitarian of the Year for work he completed in Mosul, Iraq.

Dr. Souster resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two children. He enjoys golf, running and spending time with family and friends.
