Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has collaborated with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME®) to annually host its renowned Assessment Hub training course. Throughout the course’s three days, participants will be introduced to key strategies, resources, and tools to build an effective assessment system and apply best practices.
This highly interactive course will feature speakers from ACGME, Vanderbilt University, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Course Goal
The course will focus on building assessment skills of individual faculty members or others at the front lines of resident and fellow education.

- Apply key principles of outcome-based training and competency-based training in graduate medical education.
- Build and follow effective performance assessment strategies in your Clinical Competency Committees.
- Enhance methods used to collect assessment data for professional development.
- Apply effective practices in work-based assessment.
Target Audience
This course is ideally suited to Program Directors, Chairs and members of Clinical Competency Committees and Program Evaluation Committees (PECs) and faculty members responsible for assessing the knowledge and performance of medical interns, residents and fellows.
